Add-On to Digitreats SKIP ABC kit

Hi all,
Another add-on to Skip ABC kit, originally created by Pamela from Digitreats. I think almost everyone already knows about her great kits, but if you don't then hurry hurry go to her blog to check her amazing work. Here is link to her blog:

Several designers have fallen love to the colors she is using and created add-ons to those kits. And so have I. LOL.
I bought several months ago couple of great plug-ins from The Alien Skin. I have mostly used only couple of cool effects, but one day I decided to play around little bit more with them - and these are the results. Add-on contains mosaic papers and some new elements.

I have almost done teddy bears with Jump kit colors, but not quite finished yet. So all of you who have been waiting for them, they are on their way.

Polar Bears in Finland!

Yes, we do have them... but only in the one zoo. LOL.
They are living in the Ranua Zoo, Lapland, Finland. Ranua Zoo

Our family spent last week touring around the Lapland, northern part of Finland. I'll tell our trip story later with pictures, now it is already so late here, that I have to go to get some sleep.

Selma is having a fever (40 degree in Celsius, 104 in Farenheit) and she has been a Miss Cranky whole day. And she is not sleeping well, waking up crying now and then. We gave some medicine for her to help her condition, so hopefully she is able to sleep better. Sleeping is healing!
It is nothing serious, only a pox babies are getting with high fever lasting 3 days and then there will be a spotty red rash all over for 1-2 days.
The name of the pox in English is roseola infantum. Wikipedia info
It took me a while to find it with Google, I only knew the Finnish name :o)

CHARITY KIT to benefit Shriner's Children's Hospital in Chicago

Anne from Creative Dreams is collecting designers to participate to a Charity Kit. Idea is to make a collaboration kit to raise money for Shriners Hospital in Chicago.

The kit has a Tropical Fish theme and it was named Ocean Friends by her daughter.
Here is the color palette, which is used:

Charity work has always been close to my heart and I wanted to take a part of this amazing idea. I emailed my creations to Anne and she accepted those. So I'm now officially taking part of that mega kit and I'm so happy that I can help this hospital even that it is located in different continent.

Scrapbooking is really connecting the world.

Birthdays

2 of my girls are born very close to each other, Alina 13th of April and Selma 18th of April.
We had a huge birthday celebration with our family and friends. And the theme of the Birthday was: DINOSAURUS!
Yes, my 4 year old just loves dinosaurus, crocodiles, spiders... all scary stuff.
Her cake was a head of a T-Rex. All the decoration was about dinos. There were toy dinos all over the table, green fabric was "grass" and stones were "rocks".

Selma is still so young, that she didn't have any special requests about the decoration ;o)
So She had a cake with number 1.

Now it happened to me!

My Baby kit stuff was used in one of the monthly mega kit.
After having an interesting conversation about the site owners + creator, her kit is now removed from the site!

So if you see this kit used somewhere, Please inform me by leaving a comment or sending an email: el9331@gmail.com.















I having a hard time because of this. It feels like my baby was stolen :o(
Creator said she downloaded it from rapidshare without my TOU.

The kit was up there several days and I'm afraid that it was downloaded many times. So if you happen to notice specially my Teddy Bears used somewhere and credits given to someone else, please inform me!!!!

Deep down I know that my kids won't forget me, but it still hurts to be away from them two weeks. Selma is developing so fast that during the 2 weeks she has grown a much.
Meeri and Alina are already exited about my trip. We have checked the cities Delhi, Agra and Bangalore via Internet, so they know where I'm going. And they also know that I'm bringing some stuff for them when I return :o)
I will post my photos from my trip to here when I return. I don't have time for blogging during the trip, we will be working long days, so that we can keep the project time schedule. But I sure will get inspirations for creation work from the colorful atmosphere of India.

They are offering stuff for freebie designers. Unfortunately they are now closing their blog because of the wrong usage of their graphics. That is so sad, why some people are so mean that they don't respect others hard work. They are destroying all good things from others.

My youngest daughter Selma is learning by watching how her bigger sisters are brushing their teeths.
It is amazing how fast time flies. It feels like she was born yesterday and now she is already almost a 1 year old. I do miss the baby times, but it is also great to watch how she is growing and developing every day. She is calling me Mommy! Her first (and only) word.

I have to go to business trip to India next week and I'm staying there 2 weeks. I'm so worried how it will affect to her, will she forget me? I will also miss her 1st birthday and Alina's 4th birthday because of the trip. Timing for this trip couldn't be worst.
But I'm also waiting for it... because I haven't been in India before and I love to see different countries. Oh, this is not easy, it feels like I'm torn in two parts.

I'm still here even that I haven't been able to add any freebies lately.
My maternity leave ended and I'm back to work. I hope that I will find time to do some creation work also, but at the moment it seems to be difficult to try to find time just for myself and my stuff :o)
My work requires travelling and I just spent a week in London, UK. Next friday I'm flying to India for 2 weeks. Being away from my family is really hard, but I also love seeing new places.

I hope that next time I have something to share with you, till then...

Polar Bear Flocke

She was born in Nuremberg Zoo, Germany. Her mom didn't took care of her and she is now taken care by the zoo people. She is so beautiful and adorable.

I have a little Christmas present for you, my new kit Wishing you a Merry Christmas.
My plan was to create a mini kit wit some elements, but I got little bit carried away and result is this huge Christmas kit. My favorite colors in Christmas time is cream and gold.

Actually this Christmas kit colors and elements are also suitable for wedding theme, so I might add some elements+stuff, which are for weddings some day.
